Need title help
Hey guys. So i bought my 1991 f250 super cab about a month ago an got it retitled and registered that week.
When titling the truck the PO put his info in the buyer section. Well i didnt notice this until he had already signed it. Since i was working for the guy (family friend) a few days later i decided to just take the title to the dmv and see what i had to do. They gave me a form to fill out and said i needed to get it noterized by the PO's bank and i could get the title. Well i got that taken care if. Got the truck titled, registered and got temp tags on it.
So a few weeks ago i got a letter in the mail saying that the title is void and i would need the po to get a duplicate title and sign it over to me. Well with the floods we have been having (im a colorado guy) i have been unable to make it to the guys house to take care of it. Now that the path to his house is clear i am working on getting the truck going now.
So after my long story here is my question. What all do I need to give the PO to get the truck re titled? How do we get it back in his name to take care of this. (Current title in my name is VOID so i have no idea what to do)
