Hey guy's, I just installed a sinister coolant filter today. I drained some of the Ford gold out and there was a tiny amount of sand and a few flakes of what looks like rust. I was thinking of doing a flush with just water because my deltas are about 5 to 7 degrees. Iam nervous of doing a chemical flush because I'm worried about plugging the oil cooler. Do you guy's think this would be the right way to do this? I have a egr delete and was thinking of changing to cat elc after the flush. I have read that the Gold is fine with a egr delete? Thanks for any replies!

If your deltas are 5-7 I would just continue to monitor your temps. Check the filter about every 1K and replace
