Ok, I have a 1990 Mustang GT EFI engine in a 1951 Ford Truck. It's been sitting for about 1.5 years while I 've been doing a body off paint job. It ran great when I parked it. Now when I try to start it , it just turns over & want start. If I squirt some gas in the intake it will fire up on the first lick & will start first lick all day, Once it is warmed up. But if I try the next day, Same thing I have to squirt some fuel in the intake. So far I've put a new fuel pump on it, a new adj fuel pressure Reg set at 43 with the Vac line off & around 38 with the Vac line on. It was doing the same thing before I changed the PSI Reg. Any Ideas????
Ok, I'd get a book for the Mustang, either a Chiltons or a Haynes, and then check the harness you have against the wiring diagram. I would suspect that there is a wire missing between the computer and fuel pump relay.
