Airaid filter cleaning??

Got me an Airaid filter for cheap at salvage yard for my 04 F250 6.0. I’m trying to research how to clean these things, It appears you clean the oiled ones and dry ones differently. Is there a way to know if it’s an oiled filter or a dry filter? Here is a picture

ONE word.....DON'T

The stock filter is so much better.
That mesh filter lets way too much
dust past and you will be looking
at a turbo replacement.
