I currently own a 2006 F350 srw lwb crew cab. I'm looking to see what the recomended setup is to pull a 31ft camper that is a bumper pull. Short trip maybe 200miles round trip. Swaybar, no swaybar, and type of hitch. It has the off road package and the 20" wheel option. Thank you ahead of time.
If you have Camper Package, then you have sway bar. As far as hitch, just get the right drop. Depending on tongue weight, you may or may not need load leveling hitch.

Reason: Put correct package in
With a 30' trailer (RV) you NEED a load leveling hitch... you don't need to be lighting up the tree tops while driving at night. You'll also want a anti-sway device to stop 18 wheelers from whipping you off the road!
Tongue weight dry is 800. So I think the weight will be good as long as stated above, the drop is right. Now to get a hitch. Tbc was standard on my girl so that's covered.

Pulled the TT yesterday without the weight distribution hitch or a sway control. Pulled like a champ. I can see where the sway control would help but I finally aired up the rear tires to the required 75psi and figure that will take most if not all sway out. It might help that the tanks are finally dumped on it too. All but the fresh water was 3/4 full. No it wasn't my doing. Trying to help a Military Wife with her husband deployed.
If you have FX4, then you already have sway bar. As far as hitch, just get the right drop. Depending on tongue weight, you may or may not need load leveling hitch.
Are you talking about the rear sway bar? If so, the FX4 package does not mean you have the sway bar.
