My 81 ranger will not start after i drove about a block the dash clock started smoking so pulled over to take it out and drove another block and i lost all the power and it stalled and would not start at all so i threw the transmission and transfer case both in neutral and pushed it home and i have no idea what it could be plus my radio smells like it was fried
It's probably impossible to tell by describing it on a web forum..Generally speaking I'd recommend pulling off your dash pad so you get a good look at the wiring back there. You'll probably find an old, thicker wire that shorted to ground thanks to a chunk of insulation that had been abrading against something, which probably in turn also took out a fusible link up by the battery, which left your truck without power at all.
sounds like you had some kind of electrical fire, which was stopped when a fusible link blew. open up the dashboard and find what fried, replace all damaged wiring, and go from there
Only issue that i can see is that i dont have lights inside the truck except for my glovebox the engine turns over but wont fire up. The four wheel drive light wont turn on and my circuit board to the gauges is burnt
You're going to have to get a schematic for your truck, match everything on it to your truck and then start probing around with a test light. It's not as difficult as it sounds.

Very unlikely an electrical fire would go out when the fusible link blows. They are to prevent fires. Once the fire starts you need a fire extinguisher.
