Ok guys just a quick question, I did the AC test on the PIP sensor on my 89 ford f-150 that has a missing issue, I am getting a reading of 8.7 to 10.2 . this is higher then the book. should I go ahead and change it?
Pip wire to ground to check AC voltage. Haynes manual. I don't understand how to read the codes I keep trying and I know it has one but I can't figure out the code when counting needle swipes on my analog meter. Don't know how to explain but I just can't figure the code out.
Where can I upload my video, I took two. one of codes, and one of truck running for audio purposes. I don't have a youtube account or anything. I can just e-mail them to someone who can help
I feel like i'm getting plenty of fire, but at the wrong time. pulled the number 8 wire with truck running and it doesn't effect how the truck idles at all, but it is firing. I did the basic stretch test on the timing chain today and only had 2 degrees of rotation before the distributor started to move. so all good there. is it possible that the timing chain has jumped a tooth?
