Super Duty Grille
Just crested 1500 miles in my new F-250 and this is one very impressive truck.
Got the 5.4 and auto because it's just mainly a commuter vehicle. Wanted to move up to a full size pickup again after 195,000 miles on my 94 Ranger. Got the F250 because I don't like the 150 styling or the new 150 coming out.
I am amazed at the ride quality of this truck while still maintaining a very good work capability. Smooth, quiet, relatively powerful, very quiet inside and good looking to boot.
The only thing I don't like is that I didn't get the chrome grille.
I have noticed an aftermarket grille on EBAY for a decent price. Looks just like the Ford piece only much cheaper. Not the stainless or billet pieces, but a factory look alike aftermarket piece.
Does anyone have any experience with these aftermarket grilles? I would imagine body shops use them a lot. Does the chrome hold up like original?
Any input would be appreciated.

I would get the name and call the local body shops. They would know if they fit well and such.
I tried to save some money a while back after hitting a deer in a Taho by going after market and most of the parts did not fit. I know of others that had no problems so again get the name of the mfg.

Have you checked out some of the local custom shops..They are a great place to find out what is working and whats not. Most will give you straight advise but still take it with a grain of salt. I ended up painting mine to match the truck. Have gotten a lot of compliments and several others around are now painting thiers. Must be popular?
