1997 f350 psd E40D troubles
So when I start the truck, back it out of it's parking spot, and shift into drive (OD), it's like the trans is in neutral. Same issue if I put it in 2nd or low. If I rev the engine up to about 2 grand, the trans will then engage. Once it engages, as long as I leave it in drive, it has no other issues for as long as I drive it. Stop and go traffic, shifts fine, no slipping, no issues. But once you park it somewhere, it starts all over again. Skip the reverse and put it right into drive, same thing, have to rev it to engage the trans... Any thoughts?
