Air cond./fan problem

Air cond./fan problem
My air cond.works great and is very cold[1993 F250]-BUT when i accelerate or climb a hill the fan stops working[maybe the AC does also].When i take my foot off of the gas and go on the level or downhill,it goes back to working.What is up with it?

You have a bad vacuum line!!! Take a look at the white hard plastic vacuum line on top of the A/C box under the hood... While you're at it check the vacuum reservoir and if it looks like a large juice can check the bottom of it for rust.....
