Just curious how your trans coonmod if you will worked with a chip.curious if a chip and drilling made for a very rough shift.
i have a chip but not installed and had meant to drill thee vb but have been busy lately and done neither

I had his mod with PHP and BTS tuned and loved it better the. The transgo tugger kit.

Thats good to hear.i have an extra core if i didnt but just want to do it once..till the trans blows up.

I had to do it a 2nd time. I egged one of the hole. I didn't notice it till I did a WOT run and when I hit 3rd I thought the drive shaft was gonna fly out. Lol

Its fun.i crossdrill all c6 vb for full time lube..its the same but more critical.
im stoked..now to get 600mi back home.

Welcome back Joe!!!!!! I too was wondering the other day what happened to everyone that was here when I was first getting started on here. You were one of those people. You, Cody, Rick, Bill (Madvan... RIP), TJ, Farm... Everyone just kinda phased out. TJ has popped in a few times here and there and Rick pops in every once in awhile also.

Hope everything has been going well for you, though it sounds like there has been a few bumps in the road. Glad to see you back.

Well I figure I should pop in and see if there are any new tips or tricks that somebody might have figured out.

As to the question about the trans mod and a chip- doesn't matter. For my testing I actually bypassed the epc and went for max line pressure and everything still worked fine. Just shifted harder. Nothing was adversely affected. Sold my truck at just over 300k and the trans had 295k on it. Still kicking strong last time I saw it.

Great to hear.i didn't know if the two together were a bad idea. i have 326k. but i don't know much history before 264 k when my buddy got it. when i get back from vaca I'm doing the vb and chip/tde0 pcm swap..h hopefully the tde1 chip will work in the tde0 chip..wish me luck...
