trying to help my uncle pinpoint the source of a leak, he is telling me that the "oil" only leaks when truck is running. From what I can tell is this looks to me like the power steering pump is to blame, what do you think? it is a 2006. and he has had it in Gilmore ford for the leak they blamed the turbo seal then they said it was the oil pressure switch then the oil cooler gasket apparently it has been in the shop 5 times for this leak. there is no "oil" above the pump only below and beside it. I immediately assumed it was motor oil as I didn't think the power steering pumps in these trucks leaked very often.
Looks like atf to me but I would definitely get that truck out of that dealership. Sounds like Manny, Moe and Curley are troubleshooting it. In fact Helen Keller might do a better job.

I have not seen the truck personally he e-mailed me the pic. But from what he has told me and the picture I came to the same conclusion that the fluid collecting around that line is red. I agree that dealership is a wreck. If anyone lives in Alabama stay away
