re doing the brake system on my truck. put all new lines and new hose in the rear. since i had no help i got two one-man bleeders and got the air out of the rear.
i just finished the front, new lines hoses and calipers/pads.....but alas on a sunday morning, everyone is busy haha
if i take and switch the one man bleeders to the front so i can do it myself will i introduce air back into the rear lines?
+1
Its neally no different than 2 man bleeding. You just have a pumper and cracker.
When doing the rear your pushing all the air from its chamber in the mc back to the bleeders and out. The front has its own mc chamber and feed line. It basically operates as 2 individual systems that work simultaneously from one single stimuli.
cool guys thanks. i guess my concern was after the rear was bled if it matterd if i removed the bleeder would it cause air. but i guess that would happen only if i opened the brake line itself up
Shouldn't be an issue. However, the gravity bleed helps to start he process. Also anytime you are bleeding brakes a person wants to start from the furthest point away fro the master cylinder then work towards it.
