Well last weekend was the 20<SUP>th</SUP> Annual Car Show in Cloverdale CA. Cloverdale is located about 75 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. This year was the biggest turn out ever, we had 205 entries, whcih is a lot for our little town. I've been working on the F100 ever since I purchased it in April, getting it ready for this show. Below are a couple of pictures of both the 63VW and the 66 F100. Enjoy ....

Wimbledon White over Marlin Blue also seen listed as Light Blue.
The 1966 Color chart tells you to use the 1965 Color Chart.
That may be inre to Ditzler, but not so with FoMoCo. Wimbledon White introduced in 1964, was used well into the 1980's on a gazillion different FoMoCo vehicles.
Looks like your truck has its original CA black plates. The letter/number sequence depends on which DMV office issued the plates.
My 1965 F100 original black plates: S28392. Plates issued by the Culver City DMV, I installed them as I was the original owner.
Early issue black plates have 1963 embossed on them, later version does not.

my parts f250 had blue plates I was looking closer the other day and noticed the 63' on the plate pulled on the side and the blue came off PO painted the plates blue but it doesn't stick after all these years the other note is they were steel, blue I think were aluminum

Commercial black plates were used thru at least mid-year 1971, while the non commercial plates were phased out in 1969. Both were replaced by blue plates.
The only other year that used blue plates with yellow letters was 1939, marked California World's Fair. Fair held on Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay, accessed via the Bay Bridge.
It's a man made island, once used by Pan Am's Boeing 341 Clipper 'across the Pacific' Flying Boats.
