timing degree
i have a 1979 351 w with edelbrock intake an 600 holly 4brl carb, proform hei distributor what should I set the timing gun at is it 10 degree or 14
I know most chevys are 10 but I think ford different

My 86 351W engine bay tag says 10* BTDC. I found they usually run better with 12. Play with it a bit and see where it runs best, you want the most without pinging on restart or stress on the starter.
