I've always used the Motorcraft, however on my last purchase I put in the 850cca. They were leaking a little bit and my positive side terminal was always turning green. Dealer replaced after just 2 months and 2 months later I was seeing the green again. Finally I went back to the 750cca Motorcraft as the Parts manager requested and had no issues after that.
My new to me EX has 2 NEW no name 650cca in there now, all is good but will be changing before my winter trip.
I'm going to give the Diehard Platinums with 930cca a try.
Are you using no-ox on your battery connections? Will never corroide or oxidize. I am required to use it by AT&T on all their electrical connections at their cell phone towers.

No, at the time the dealer recommended some type of pad that sat under the terminals. I thought this was just a way of them masking the problem, but the parts manager said that I was overcharging the 850cca battery and that the 750 cca was a better fit for my application (At that time I was running a high output alternator) to this day I don't know if that really had anything to do with it. But the proof was in the pudding, no leaks on the 750.
I'm not saying I wouldn't do the Motorcraft again, just want to try the Platinums this time around.
Wal-mart batteries here, largest I could fit, 2 in the truck, both trailers have one for the winch and the camper has 2 matching ones as well. If I do need to do some emergency battery swapping, I'm never far from one.
Plus it's never hard to find a wal-mart should I need to do an exchange
