Post Screwed IAC

Thanks to a couple of rusted screws and a very handy Dremel, I'm in need for new screws for my freshly cleaned idle air control valve. Looking through the Haynes manual didn't give me any sizes and visually matching them at the hardware store didn't work either.

Rather than a process of elimination and killing the threads, does anyone know the right screw size?

It's metric, which is why you didn't find it at a hardware store. Visit your local U-Pull-It junkyard.

I'd just take the throttle body to your local parts house and match them up; it's a snap to remove. I'll try to pull one of mine tonight and check it for you.

Thanks for the info guys

Had a feeling it might be metric. Standard would be too easy of a fix

bigric: If you could do that I'd be eternally grateful!

OK, it's a 6mm bolt, the threaded portion is 0.8" long, so it's right at 1" overall, and it's got pretty fine threading on it. I don't have the exact numbers on the threads, so get a few fine-threaded ones and gently try them. Sorry for the hodgepodge of metric and standard units...
