Very beautiful, but what is it going to look like after you throw old rusty parts, dirt, rocks and steer manure in there?

Robo, you are about to get sent some rough cut oak planks of mine - to do your magic on them. An F2 has about six boards, each eight feet long. You might want to take a hacksaw and cut out the backside of your mailbox so they will fit inside. I'll be nice and only mail one at a time. Gotta figure out how many stamps to stick to them.

And if they come out half as nice as your walnut did...I'd be real happy.
When can you start? You are done with yours so you must have the free time and a paint brush still wet.

Damn beautiful wood. The wood from the stump and roots make some
awesome things. Birds eye maple gun stocks from the root of a big maple
can sell for thousands of dollars. But any root from any large tree would
have a lot of birds eye and swirl that makes it so unique.

Apple is a very good one. But with most it is difficult to get long
enough boards from it.
And ya never know what kind of wood ya may find in a 100 or 200
year old barn or house or line shack that need torn down.

I just hate ta see these old buildings burned. Save the old wood.

If you have gone to the U.P (upper peninsula) of Michigan there is a whole forest of birds eye maple-- a lot of the local restarants have the whole inside panaled with it. Beautiful wood.

Pine root is also very beautiful when finished.
As are so many others. But birds eye maple is
prolly the most popular.
