Issue with 2000 Ford Excursion Pats

Hello,
Ok about three weeks ago driving from Austin, my truck would not shift come to find out it was a fuse that blew. Well I pull over and replace the fuse it starts right up I get about a mile from my house and it blows again so I shut off my x and then replaced the fuse. Will not start
Now I am getting a Pats code 1:6 and my obd2 reader says no link on my x. It used to read it all the time. I am trying to figure out what I can check to fix this problem are there any relays. Oh also my check engine light does not come on when I turn the key but my truck does crank. does this mean there is no power to my ECU. I did replace my ecu and it did not solve the issue. Thanks for all the help.

Not sure what the code is but I remember reading the fuel bowl heater would blow fuse #6 I think and the common repair was to disconnect the heater. Get a better scan on codes or trace what items are on the fuse circuit. I bet it is a common issue like air heater or fuel heater.

That really depends on which engine he has. It definitely sounds like the fuse for the fuel bowl heater though.

You don't have a fuel bowl. It's a problem that occasionally afflicts the 7.3L PSD.

So your code reader is powering up, correct? It's just not reading the PCM?
