It must be an electrical problem
Well - I must have an electrical problem.
The power steering pump on my totally cool & custom 56 F100 puked all over my garage floor like a frat boy at homecoming.
I have no idea what year or make ford this thing came out of, so I guessed....a couple of times.

I managed to hit the head on the nail on the second attempt so to speak & got the exact replacement pump.
came from (or at least is the same as) 1972 Ford Torino. Fits like a glove & by the way - looks like it was meant to be there.
Oh - almost forgot about my electrical problem.
The pulley - what a bitch to remove!! - But even harder than pulling it off was trying (and failing) to "install" it with a 5lb whacker. HAHA!
If I could have been more of a red neck I don't know how.
I didn't hurt the new pump - but I bent the hell out of the pulley with one wrong smack. Why oh why didn't I just take it to autozone & borrow their darn tool

Since the 5lb whacker didn't fix my issue.....it must be an electrical problem.
