I seen this Ad a few weeks ago. I would like it for a daily driver , I bet it would get killer fuel mileage. Jacksboro Is only 20 minutes from my house.

Likely around 20-22 if you're nice to it.

I don't see why he didn't do a Cummins swap. Much easier to put a 12 valve in a 1/2 ton than a 7.3, not a whole lot of aftermarket support for what he did. Quite interesting though

A cummins?!??!?! Really? Gtho...no support for what??? Im looking around at some real good tech support...


A highschool tech class did the swap iirc.its for sale on other psd sites and i would loveee to but for me it would purely be a toy.

Nothing wrong with a Cummins, but there is everything wrong with a Chrysler transmission

Chrysler is enough said Cummins is OK.

I put a 12 valve right on par with a 7.3 powerstroke. But I think overall the 7.3 is a better truck, hence why I don't own a Dodge

A Million mile motor in a hundred mile truck. I am not much of a Dodge fan.

I like the 2nd Gen 12v Cummins engines, but like you guys said.....the package it came in left a LOT to be desired

Haha true..chrysler brought a good engine down a certain amount. my point is its a ford..the psd went in like it was factory. i dont see a need for a switch. a 12v is idiotproof to wire but im not much on easy.i only have overcommplicated projects it seems.
