Plugging MAP plenum fitting

My build slooooowwwwwwlllly continues, and I'm moving my MAP to the hot side of IC. I picked up some vacuum caps to plug the old MAP fitting on the plenum but they seem flimsy. Would JB weld be a better option, or is there a better way to close this opening?

When I had mine I just used a snug to fit vacuum cap and iirc put some adhesive of some sort on it.
