Dash Bezel?

On my 78 F150, there is a hole in the upper lip of the dash bezel on the driver side above where the a/c vent would be. It is too big for a screw. Does anyone know what this is for or what went there?

You gotta pic? Does it look factory? People have drilled all kinds of holes in these things so without more info, there is no telling.

If I remember correctly, it is for a screw, but it is one with a really large flattened head. Kind of like a screw head with a washer attached.

Something like this: They actually call them a washer head screw.

May have had the screw to tight at one time and it pulled itself though making the hole bigger. I have a couple of extra bezels like that , good condition otherwise.
