Wow. Examples like that is what gives filler a bad name. It's supposed to be for minor dents no more than 1/8-inch deep. Dudes aren't supposed to sculpt a new part out of it!!!

I know it's pretty bad... I'm going to try and get off what I can and see what I'm working with. Ill post an update with some pics soon. Thanks for all the feedback guys

When i bought my 56 fairlane , which was a one owner car . The guy , a want to be car salesman , that sold it for him put bondo on it and put a cheap paint job on it. He had filled the rocker panels on both sides about that thick . I cut them out and welded in new panels. But that box is to far gone to put any effort in fixing it . I'm not sure the crushers would even pay a good price because the bondo is going to make it weigh in heavy . So i guess removing the bondo may help to sell it for scrap.
