my 351w is boggin upon acceleration ..I just replaced the MAP sensor and it only improved slightly but its still popping and boggin down..... it idles just fine tho (minus the overheating problem in my other post..still haven't quite figured that one out yet)
Just to mention your posts are in the wrong forum for the 351 motors.
Popping is usually a lack of fuel or even an air leak causing a lean condition.
Check the fuel pressure for being about 38 psi and hoses for air leaks.
The map sensor converts the manifold vacuum level signal to a different format sent to the computer for interpretation so it can raise fuel injection amount per throttle opening angle.
You likely have a fuel delivery issue of some sort.
