Excursion 3rd row seat

We currentlyin an 07 expedition EL. One of the reasons we are considering a move to the excursions is to hopefully be able to sit three across the 3rd row. The Expy has three seatbelts but you are hard pressed to seat three across. The Expy 3rd row measures 48" accross the hip area. Does anyone know how wide the excursion 3rd row is?

Roughly 48 inches.

We fit 3 kids across there OK. I've never tried it with adults though.

Our teenagers usually sit back there, they're 5'3 and 5'9 and 5'2.

Taller than that might have issues with legroom.

I know they bitch about the lack of headrests!
