I'm pretty certain that the Expedition 3rd row from the same years will fit in the back of the Excursion.

 

Where are you located? I'm sure plenty of people on here have them sitting in the garage just taking up space I know I do.

 

check craigslist, I see them on there all the time.

Is this true? That would really nice since the Expedition seats have headrests (I think?).

 

I assume that would be the older seats he is referring to. That would be awesome though.

 

Yeah I'd love to find a true fix for the lousy third row, especially for my son who sits back there while our younger daughters sit in the middle captain chairs in their child seats.

I've seen folks and their good attempts with junk yard head rests and some fabrication but there has to be a better solution.
