As i went to check under my dash to see if i had the error code module on the right, i noticed this white wire hanging from under my steering column. Its got a loop at the end and a green plastic bracket. I took a picture because the wire and bracket is just hanging there not connected to any thing which kinda scared me.




Anyone know what that is??

 

At first i didn't want to mess with it..

But i said what the hell... turns out it was just a wire that would connect to the drive selector of an automatic transmission. I pulled it and the little red needle went across the range.

I'm releaved. I thought it would be the eject button or something. Good thing i know that one is next to the light switch.

Is that curious sehector have anything to do with starting like if that cable's broken, it's not registered on my dashboard that it's in neutral park or what not is that gonna keep it?I'm starting to know start crying for no start no spark no fuel
