It was a great trip Ron. The weather was beautiful - a bit chilly Friday night (35 degrees - but sunny and since this was our maiden voyage with the new RV it was a shakedown cruise with no problems. But no doubt I need a new battery for the RV - the one on board now must be 4-5 years old and had a bit of trouble getting the front landing gear extended far enough to get onto the 5th wheel hitch.
Otherwise a flawless first outing.
Glad your first outing was a successful outing. I'd love to have 35* right now.
Nice pics bty Shawn. Nice place to go camping it looks like.
Good morning Jim and woodchuck wannabees. Should be a nice day today. Going to run the big rig over to the scales today to see what we weigh with all the junk loaded in it. I'm guessing 13,500 dry but with all the gear except motorcycles on board.
Guess that I have to go see George huh? Interstate makes a good battery.
Yup, I have to pay attention to overpass heights - no trips down 12a from Northfield to Randolph for example - both height and length might get me. I have the trucker atlas with all the overpass info in it. If a commercial 55 foot truck/trailer can make it I probably can. Otherwise, buyer beware!
