That's what happen to mine. Rust flakes in the cooling vents. It wasn't the inspection reason because they don't look at that here but it was the embarrassment factor. It sounds like I had a coffee can of smalls nuts rattling around in slow speeds or coming to a stop. Changed out at 108k. It was hard watching people in traffic trying to figure what is that noise knowing it was me.
