Help

My 86 F250 460 has been sitting for about 6 months and it ran very good when I parked it. Got into it this afternoon and basically nothing. The battery was brand new when she was parked. The engine seems like it is trying to turn over, but that is about it.
Any ideas?

The battery is probably down. Most would be by this time. You will need to charge it or jump it to start and let the alternator charge it.

If that isn't it, and I'd bet it is, then you have a bad connection, probably at the battery itself.

Battery is dead, fuel has evaporated and turned to gum inside the carb, etc. Don't be surprised if the brakes have problems also. Vehicles go downhill fast when they sit around.
