2012 XL trip odometer toggle?
I've read through my manual, but can't find anything on how to actually lock the odometer at zero when I don't need it. Trip A is set to my oil change mileage and I just want Trip B to be off or at zero. Any ideas?

Don't believe the Trip B ODO can be "locked" at 0. Just have to reset it when you need it for something.

IIRC you can push the OK button twice quickly and that will pause it.

Probably my bad, didn't think about it being an XL.

yeah, the XL is the base model so it doesn't have a lot of the special features. I got all that was important to me: V8, trailer tow package, and 4x4. It has the standard computer that just cycles through Trip A, Trip B, remaining mileage, average gas mileage, and engine load, as well as roll up windows, and manual locks. I'm actually quite surprised since I can get 25 mpgs at 55 mph and 28.7 if I'm drafting off a semi

I have always done it the opposite way. B was for oil changes and A was for calculating fuel mileage.
I am not shure if this will work on the XL yet.

that's what i do in mine at work.
kinda nice to have a Trip A and Trip B, just for that reason. our subaru only keeps 3 digits on the trip, though, so it is not very useful that way.
