Does anybody know if the truck Y-blocks that were mated to auto transmissions had dashpots on the carbs? I know that they were installed on the cars, but am wondering about the trucks. I have been looking for the bracket and dashpot for a while, and wonder if there might be a source in the truck world. So, if they did come equiped like the cars, does anybody have a source? Jag

 

Dashpot itself is EZ to find, fits myriad FoMoCo vehicles. But the specific bracket will be hard to find.

Yep, that's exactly the bracket I'm looking for. B1AZ-9B550-A I've searched the swaps hoping somebody would be selling one, but.... I may finally give up and make a substitute. ND, thanks for nice pic and info. Jag
