'51/;52 Ignition

Is the ignition switch on the '51 '52 , key start or a button start?

6A-11500 .. Starter Button.

1937/48 Ford Passenger Cars / 1937/51 all trucks.

Thanks I bought '52 switch from auto parts house & it looks like the '60s' type ignition switch.... Thanks I have yet to check I it on& off only

Ignition and starter button are different. The truck still had an ignition key switch that needs to be turned on then the starter button pushed. In 51, the starter button was chromed metal. In 52, the starter push button was black plastic, same as the dome lamp switch in the door jambs on Extra equipped trucks.
