psychlopath is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Just throwing out there that if youre this deep into an install of this nature, you may want to consider updating the condenser.

I'm about 9/10th of the way into putting a condenser that was actually meant for newer refrigerant into mine...

Maybe it wont make a difference, what with keeping the stock evaporator and all, but a guy can dream, cant he?

Mine is out of a 2000 Jimmy and fits with ALMOST no cutting.

Hopefully someone who's smart with this stuff will chime in.

Not sure what you're looking for....the condenser "condenses" High pressure gas (from the compressor) to a high pressure liquid. It then goes to a metering device (expansion block or orifice tube) then to a dryer and then allows low pressure liquid into the evaporator and turns to a low pressure gas and gets "sucked" back to the compressor.
Are you installing air into a Bronco "born without"?? There are after market kits out there that you can piece together if you have only certain parts. Try Vintage Air or Classic Auto Air. I've bought both companies from old projects. Being in SW Florida A/C is a MUST!!
