Specifically, which fuse is blowing? Is it the fuse for the instrument cluster lighting? Does it blow as soon as you replace it, or only after some event (such as the lights are turned on)? Has any work recently been done to the truck that might relate to the instrument cluster (cruise control work, alternator, stereo install, etc.)?

Obviously, there is a short circuit, otherwise the fuse wouldn't blow. We need the specific fuse identification number.

fuse number 15 in the fuse box inside the engine compartment. once the fuse blows out none of my gadgets work, like the speedo, rev, gas gauge, etc.... only thing that was replaced on it was a new battery.

It makes sense that once the fuse blows other things stop working. But what does it take to make the fuse blow? Does it blow as soon as you replace it, or does it only blow after something is turned on?

If i drive it for the entire day then go to do an errand or something later on the same day then the fuse would blow out.

According to the factory service manual for the 2003 Explorer, fuse F1.15 in the battery junction box should be a 15 amp fuse and provides power to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), the Instrument cluster, and the Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC).

To start with, I'd suggest you confirm you are using a 15 amp fuse. Next, if you have EATC, try turning the EATC off everytime before you shut off the engine. If that seems to keep the fuse from blowing, until you manually turn the EATC on again, that will start to narrow down the circuits you need to look at more carefully.

Fuse F2.15 in the Central Junction Box is a 5 amp fuse and provides some power to the Rear wiper motor assembly, Low tire pressure module, and the Instrument cluster. If this happens to be the fuse that is blowing, do NOT put a 15 amp fuse in for it and instead you might try unplugging the tire pressure module to see that keeps the fuse from blowing.

The fuse in the box by engine is a 15 and the one inside is a 5 fuse.
