Once my new F350 6.7 arrives I plan to install a 6 inch lift and was wondering if anyone here has any feedback as to the pros and cons of the Pro Comp system compared to the Fabtech system.
This will be my first lift since a 1978 F250 I had many, many years ago.
Wish I would have kept that truck.
No input on the lifts, but, I agree on the '78. I also had a 250. Drove it everyday for over 21 years. Had almost 200,000 miles on it. I wish many times I would have kept it.

Those trucks were so much simpler and had very few maintenance issues. We lived on a large ranch and worked them Hard.
What, you mean all the components laid out, or do you mean installed? If you're looking for installed pics, remember that there are a number of factors that affect how a truck looks, including tire size, weight, and so forth. A perfectly stock, empty truck with stock tires would be the best way to compare the look of them...

I am looking to install a 6 inch Fabtech system but wanted to compare it to the Pro Comp install.
I have some pics but never can get them to post here. U have an email address I can send them to?
Unless you are a paying member, FTE doesn't allow direct posting of pics.
you have to put them somewhere else (photobucket, picassa, ...) and then put a link to the pics here.. (press the Mountain icon)
I think I will go with ProComp. They now offer a 5year 60,000 mile warranty plan at no cost that will cover the engine, transmission, transfer case, axel and gears if Ford says it was their system that caused a failure that Ford refuses to fix under Fords warranty.

I have the 6" Fabtech lift ( Fabtech Motorsports TEMS/4-LINK-SYSTEMS/6-4-Link-System-w-Dirt-Logic-Shocks-2008-13-Ford-F250-4WD-p1147.html ) with upgraded Dirt Logic 2.25 Shocks ( http://www.fabtechmotorsports.com/dirt-logic-shocks.php ) 4 total up front and I love it. The F450 has the upgraded Dirt Logic 4.0 Shocks and is very beastly!
