Is anyone familiar with the mythical creature "Medusa"?
She was a virgin priestess serving Athena, the goddess of young unmarried women. Medusa was young, beautiful, and was pursued by many suitors. Her attractiveness caught the eye of Poseidon who ravished Medusa within Athena's temple.
Athena learned of this consecration of her holy ground and blamed Medusa suggesting she had seduced Poseidon... Athena cursed Medusa by turning her in to a horrid creature with ashen skin, snakes growing from her head, and changed her body with a serpent's lower extremity. Any man who gazed directly upon her face would instantly turn into stone.

Or should I get stoned to appreciate it? My opinion, not liking it. If your ok with it, that's all that matters.
