Well, it left me on the side of the road again. Same thing 14 months ago when the ICP sensor went out. Lost power going down parkway and when i hit the brake at the off ramp, it died and never fired again. I did notice the last few days that it seemed an injector was mis-firing at about 60. I know I have a few that need to be replaced as over fuel from exhaust. Could it be the ICP again? What else may it be? It won;t even attempt to start. Thanks guys.

HPOP......I can't tell ya....
Oilis a bout a quart low and due for a change
Fuel..just put 20 in it 10 miles before break down.....
Batteries 6 months old and were fully charged at time of dying. Spun over perfectly but no fire.
IDM..........No idea....
Exact same situation as last year when ICP went out. Sohud or could that sensor go out that fast again? Ford dealer part....184 buck is alot per sensor. Anyway to test this sensor? The guy that determined it was ICP last time had a spare to try, i don't. Thanks for your help.

Where are you located? I have 3 ICP's and I would let you try 1. Can you hook-up to a AE and see your injection control pressure? You need 500 psi before it will start, my IPR was bad and it would not start. I also have a rebuilt IPR.

This place is awesome.......of all the world, last two offers of help i have had has been within 50 miles of me. I live in Muhlenberg county. She's been towed to the house. no way to scan it.....
If you cant put a scanner on it...
Maybe some mechanical test gauges?
If you have a 3kpsi oil pressure gauge and (i think) an orb-6 male adapter for it you can see your icp while trying to get it started. There are 4 high pressure oil ports on each head.
Can pull one of the plugs from an unused port and pop your gauge right in there.
Most auto parts stores now carry scangaugeII. They run around 165$ and can see icp, boost, oil temps, all kinds of stuff. It wont do a buzz or cct but its a big head start vs. blindly throwing parts at it.
