So I take it from your signature you traded it for the new 2013 F350 6.7 PSD? Those 6.7's sure are some powerful motors!

Have you read at all about the possible HPFP issues with them? Just wondering. Great looking truck and congrats on your new purchase!

Yeah, I'm not overly concerned. Everything has its issues...when I got my EB all I heard about was how it would fail...

Nice truck. Make sure you buy fuel from a high volume station and I would keep 1-2 months of fuel receipts just in case. The fuel in smaller gas stations can have lots of water in it and Ford will try everything possible to deny warranty coverage due to fuel contamination. Also drain the water separator regularly and change the fuel filters every 10-15k. The fuel system is very sensitive to fuel quality and a HPFP failure requires the entire system to be replaced which can cost thousands.

Check, check and check. I routinely keep all fuel receipts on every vehicle I have (I keep a record of what/where everything costs me). I also have an exceptional relationship with my dealer (friends with GM and Owner). I've found, owing nearly 15 Fords now, that the relationship with the dealer is key in getting Ford to carry through on warranty items. I've yet to have (knock on wood) an issue with Ford and I believe wholeheartedly that is because of my dealer relationship.

The wife wants a boat, I do a lot of firewood chopping and hauling in the fall and winter - deliver to fire depts and such. Generally cords at a time so I'm more about the "weight" the truck can haul vs necessarily pulling power. That said, the diesel is a nice switch. Loved the EB though, if I got another F150..that is what it would have.
