Program Removal

I have a 2001 f250 7.3L. I got it about 6 months ago and the previous owner told me that he thought it had a program on it before he had it and it was never taken out. I just have an edge evolution programmer in it now but I was wondering if there was a way that I could tell if it has a program in it already, and if there was a way I could remove it?

If your edge evo is working then it does not have anything else on it. 7.3L can not have two things on them at once... So you are fine
