Clean paint job. Runs perfect. Everything electric. Stock 302. Would it reach $8,000 or more?
What do you guyz think.

The truck looks gorgeous. It looks like the suspension was dropped though, and for me personally, that's an instant walk-away.

$8k might be a little high, depending on where you are. A more likely number would probably be $5-6k, but $8k isn't completely out of the ballpark.

I wouldn't give more than $4,500 for it.

Sure it's beautiful, and nice... But it's also a 19 year old truck that's depreciating EVERY YEAR.

On top of that, it's a flairside. Not exactly the most useable of beds.

And even moreso, the KBB or NADA on that truck probably closer to $3,000.

It's not 4x4, it's too "Pretty" to actually go off blacktop with, and isn't "Family oriented". Not to mention it's almost hitting 200,000 miles.

So you're looking at someone buying it to play with. Simple as that.

I'm asking if its worth that kind of money because I have never seen one in this condition let alone one that looks like this. The miles is good because usually these trucks have over 220k miles on them. This ain't a work truck obviously nor family truck. This is a weekend truck. But can it be worth $8k to the right buyer?

You do realize you're trying to sell ice water to eskimo's, right?

For $8,000 I could upgrade to a 99+ Superduty.

For $8,000, I could buy a 99-04 mustang with aftermarket parts EASILY.

I'm just saying, IMPO, No.

It's just not there, for a 19 yr old truck, unless you find that 1 in a million sucker.

Aside from the limited information you've given us, what else is done to the truck? Motor? Trans? Interior? Does it need anything?

You seem dead set on asking 8k for it, so put up an ad somewhere and see if you get it. Maybe list it on eBay with an 8k reserve...

anything will sell for any price if you find someone stupid enough to pay for it.

i know a guy that sold his 54 F-100 4X4 for $25,000.
guy asked if it was for sale, and Joe said not really, but everything is for sale if the price is rite. the guy really wanted the 54, and said what is the rite price?
Joe threw out the 25 grand price to get rid of the guy, but he said i will be here tomorrow with cash and a trailer.
and he was.

54 F-100 on a 86 bronco frame

I got my truck in February, it's a year older with less miles, stock suspension, as 4.9 and the paint is almost as clean and came with a nice bed cover. I paid 3k. You have a very limited market fors truck like that.

I think $5K is the best you are going to do for that truck.

The miles are what kills ya.

As others have said, 8k is way too much to ask. $4500 might even be asking too much around these parts.
