4WD mobility scooter?

4WD mobility scooter?
No, not really, but I wonder if there aren't some more robust electric mobility scoots around.
A few years back, we took the FIL to a county fair, and his scoot found the going awfully tough.
We live on a few acres, and as we're getting older, it might be nice to have something around that could handle more than an absolutely flat surface. The tires on most of 'em are fairly tiny from what I've seen.
Would also be nice if they made one that could hook up to somehow hook up to some kind of railing and work as a stair climber. They have stair lifts, but you've already got something with a pretty stout motor.
Maybe they have things like these already -- anybody?

I did a quick internet search and found a few different companies over in the UK that sells off-road mobility scooters, but I haven't found any listings for US suppliers - I didn't really dig that far into it, though...
