"Track bar", is that the one in front that runs side to side that some call the tie rod?

No it is not a tie rod. A trac bar (also referred to as a panhard rod or bar) is different. Here is a link to Wikipedia which provides an explanation. The picture on the right side of the Wiki page is pretty self-explanatory.
Lots of motorhomes (Class C especially) benefit by having one installed.
