Warning Chime stuck

Warning Chime stuck
My son took my 93 F-250 Extended cab to the car wash and part way through the wash the chime started up. It is now on all the times that it should be plus whenever the key is in the run position. I highly suspect the seat belt circuit as the culprit. I unplugged the connector at the base of the seat belt to no avail. I am thinnking some water got where it shouldn't and is grounding out the seat belt lead.
Anybody got an idea where to start looking?

More likely a door switch - push them to see if that's it. If it is, unscrew it, unplug it, and use channel-locks to push the brass sleeve all the way out of the steel hex, then reinstall. Closing the door slowly once will reset the switch to the proper depth.

I would think if it were te door switch, it would sound whenever the key were in. But this only starts sounding when it is turned to the run position. However, they may need some adjustment as during my playing around, we started hearing a very faint electronic sound that we later determined was a weak, slow warning chime. Like it was a very weak connection somewhere.
I have a feeling it will stop as soon as things dry out completely.
