It should bolt up, except the knock sensor, which isn't important. (A Ford engineer told me it's not reliable anyway.) You'll need a block-off plate for the fuel pump. You'll probably have the least trouble if you only use the short block.

A 5.8 EFI lower will NOT bolt up to a 5.0 upper intake. The 5.8 has oval ports, the 5.0 has rectangular shaped. But it should work if you have a 5.8 in your F-150 right now and plan on using everything from the long block up. Although im not 100%, I think that the heads would be OK to use because from what I know the 5.8 doesn't have an in head A.I.R. system anyway, it goes straight to the exhaust manifolds.
