Ranger 98 brown coolant
Hi, i have a 98 v6 3.0l. I didn't lose coolant but its brown or rusty colored.What can cause that??i read somewhere that it could be the water pump thats about to break or rust inside the system... Also when the truck is cold my oil pressure is low but a few minutes after it came ok.I dont think is a head gasket cause i am not losing oil and when i change it she s pretty clean. Thank you! didier

When is the last time ya changed the coolant?
And did ya use a good quality coolant?
First I would drain and back flush the whole system
a couple or 3 times until the water is as clear coming out as it is going in.
Than refill with damn good stuff. Run it and see what happens.
