Being a new owner of a '60, I have many questions. But right now, a couple in particular.
The rear brakes were seized, but they did break loose. I'm figuring I'll have to replace everything. As bad as I hate to say it, Autozone has about the best prices I've come across because of shipping. I hoping (but not counting on) that the drums can be turned and not replaced. If someone has a good link to brake parts, please let me know.
Second: The front fenders need to have patch panels put on. That can be done. But what are you guys doing about the end caps on the bed where the tail lights are mounted? Mine have been filled at one point, I don't know if it can be redone. Do these things exist anywhere in the aftermarket world?
Thanks. I'll try to get pics up in a few days.
LMC is a rip!!! Make sure you search everywhere before you even consider ordering from them... Ive had way to many bad experiences with them. Never again....
For brake parts the cheapest I found were Rock Auto for wheel cylendars; Ebay for dual master cylendar booster and soft lines; and local discount auto for hard lines. I didn't need to replace drums or shoes.
For rear end caps there is a guy that just recently started reproducing the bottom half of the rear section. He posted to the Facebook group with pictures. They looked very nice. I don't recall his name but the group owner will know who he is.
Wow! Asked and answered. We're in the process of remodeling a house right now. I hope to find some time before snow flies to tinker. But I certainly plan on some winter repairs. I'll be asking some more questions. Thank everyone much.

Hey msscatter, I've got the whole rear end parts kits that I won't be using since I'm going with rear discs. PM me and I'll make you a sweet deal.
