need to know
how do I find out the gear ratio on a 1990 ford f150 with a 300 and 4 wheel drive

Ford Axle Code Chart .: Articles

You'll find those codes on your door jamb sticker. To be more accurate, look at the tag on your differential cover. "3 55" is 3.55 and "3L55" is limited slip.
