Alright guys, heres what I know. My brother has been using my 95' F350 as wheels to get to school while I'm over seas, two days ago it died on him (its 5 miles to his school) towed it home, checked the oil fuel filter etc, everything is good. The HPOP was low on oil at first until cranking it some. Though it might be the IPR so changed it out with a good one, still nothing. tach is showing RPMs while cranking so ruled out the CPS. They tried getting it to fire on either with no luck. Said the batterys where cranking it over just fine. I'm stumped, and being 8,000 miles away I'm not real sure where to tell them to check next. Any ideas? Never had one not fire on either..
Truck is bone stock engine wise, 260,000 miles but po said it was rebuilt at some point. Ran PERFECT until it died.
Quick update, truck had two codes. One for the CPS, changed that with a known good one, and that took care of that code but still no start. second code is for a transmission sender. And as this is a 5 speed conversion by the po, I assume there is a sending untit bypass etc in order to start the truck with a 5 speed installed in a auto truck. I'm not sure though as I've never owned a auto. Where should I have my brother look and what should he be looking for? My only guess is that a bypass came loose and now the truck is thinking that the auto is "in gear". Thanks for any help!

I think it's on the side of the trans in an auto, so perhaps there's a wire tied together down there that came apart? I'll go look at mine in a minute and see what wires you outta be looking for
Well I did some reading on here, and it seem the only problem that SHOULD create would be a no crank problem. And it cranks just fine. However, the PO had wired in a push button start, where you had to turn the key on and then hit the button to crank the truck. I guess the problem COULD lie in that somewhere.

Gotcha, that's a duh with the no crank part - I don't know what I was thinking. Regardless I'll post a pic of my wiring setup. Can anyone advise me how to add a pic to a reply? Thanks
I think you need to use photobucket or something of the like. I'm completly stumped on this. IPR is good, CPR is good, fuel filters, oil, etc is all good. Won't fire on ether. Cranks fine, brother said it has a slight ticking sound while turning over. HPOP is also full of oil, and only one code at the moment for a transmission sender. Anybody? I'm on the verge of taking it to a Ford Dealer.

Ok, I'll upload them to my photobucket tomorrow just a reference for the heck of it. Does the truck have a chip of any kind? I know if they get loose(at the computer) they can cause a die/no start issue. Mine did that and thankfully didn't fry the computer.
As a matter of fact is does have a TS chip I believe (not sure as I only put maybe 50 miles on the truck while I was home) with only a high idle setting burned as far as I can tell. Should I have my brother try unplugging it all together? What about swapping in a PCM and/or IDM?
Ok, another update. My brother says the button to start the truck is wired from the fuse box strait to the starter, so as long as the key is on it will crank no matter what. That being said, since it WILL crank, could the transmission wiring then cause a no start problem? And my brother has a snap on scanner, but for the IPR it only shows Hertz and not PSI (I think thats what he said) while cranking. What should those values be to equal 500PSI minimum? Sorry for the long post..
I think it very well could be the chip but that'd be a guess at this point, it's easy enough to remove just to see if that's the problem. Sorry for the delay on the pic - work calls...
